There are many new and exciting things in store for the future of Toogood Today.
A major contract is being explored at present for a daily Adventist breakfast show on New Zealand's main channel at a regular viewing time. Costs of production, airtime and the business model are being negotiated. This would be a major expansion in 2010.
Negotiations have commenced with the Australian Christian Channel (ACC) which is Australia's only 24 hour Christian Television station. It is available via PayTV to 1.6 million homes in Australia through FOXTEL, Austar, Optus and several others and is now also broadcasting into Papua New Guinea.
- Negotiations have also commenced with United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) in the United Kingdom. The UCB reaches 18 million people in 7 million homes and is available on UCB SKY Channel 586.
The program is now available globally on an internet channel: www.YouTube/ToogoodToday. We hope to become a YouTube partner soon to attract and track advertising sponsorship and program development.
- A weekly series of YouTube 3min fun & controversial apologetics channel is being developed to maximise this internet channel growth.
In response to viewer requests - more music is being featured with Christchurch school choirs and other local and international talent.
- Is it possible to film 200 3min Bible Lands film segments in 4 weeks? We are planning to! On tour in October 2009 to the Middle East for stock footage acquisition and production.
